CONTACT USIf the time and date you want are fully booked, we offer a waiting list – there is a good chance a spot may open up. If you want to secure your place immediately, click the “Book a table” button. If it’s full, choose “view available tables monthly” – there we list all available times for each day.
In the 1960s, Tore Wretman coined the term The Christmas Buffet Rounds to avoid overfilling your plate and instead enjoy the craftsmanship and flavours at a reasonable pace. Originally, there were seven rounds, with herring as one round, salmon another, and so on. Today, many consider five rounds to be ideal. If you need help planning your Christmas buffet strategy, just ask our staff – they are happy to assist.
You can find prices for each date here, but generally prices start from 895 SEK.
The address is Birger Jarls Torg 2a, 111 28 Stockholm. The nearest metro station is Gamla Stan, one stop from Central Station or Slussen. Use the Riddarholmen exit. After exiting the station, turn right and walk along the water. The entire area is also very accessible for car and taxi.
There is parking available on Riddarholmen, both outside Riddarholmskyrkan and further down towards the water. Parking is charged for a fee around the clock.
A closet is available on the entrance floor and is included in the cover charge.
Yes. With elevators to all floors, it is easy for all guests to access our dining rooms, restrooms and bars.
Yes, we are convinced that the key to an updated and modern menu is offering several vegan and vegetarian options. Each dish on the buffet is clearly marked with any dietary information. If you have questions, our staff are happy to help, and if you would like to ask about dietary restrictions in advance, feel free to email us at jul@gamlariksarkivet.com.
Yes. We label all allergens and dietary restrictions, and our experienced chefs are always available to help with any questions.
Yes, just ask a member of staff and they will provide you with the password.

No, but we recommend that guests are 18 years or older for our late evening seatings on Fridays and Saturdays.
Invoicing is available for groups of 10 people or more, upon agreement when booking. For invoice payments, we always send a pre-invoice of 895 SEK per person including VAT at the time of booking, which is then deducted from the final invoice.
No, not for smaller groups. Our knowledgeable waitstaff will happily guide you through our selection. If you wish, we also offer set drink packages.
For groups of more than 40 people, drinks must be pre-ordered. Contact us for recommendations or to place your drink order.
Of course – children are very welcome. We offer highchairs, but due to fire safety regulations we cannot guarantee that you may bring a stroller to the table. However, the carrycot part of the stroller is always allowed.
Between 10:30–13:00 on Saturdays and Sundays, it is extra fun to be a parent at our venue. The cinema is open and staffed with Santa’s helpers who assist with childcare and entertainment.
Please note that for our late evening seatings on Fridays and Saturdays from 20:00, we recommend that guests are 18 or older.
